About me
Nick Amster has been a language educator for 10 years now beginning his journey at St. John's University (BSEd'15) and continuing to eventually pursue a doctorate, he has experience in K-12 education as well as working in Higher Education in the World of Student Affairs. He earned his M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University in 2019, as well as Advanced Certificates in TESOL and Middle School Education from Fordham University and CUNY Lehman College, respectively. He is currently back at St. John’s pursuing a 2nd master’s degree, this time in Theology, finishing his degree in Spring 2025. In addition to teaching Spanish and ENL, Nick serves as the NJHS Co-Advisor and Senior Activities Coordinator at his school and has been presenting at conferences since 2017 on various topics. He is also teaching himself French.
