About me
I taught Spanish for nine years in Detroit Public Schools at Foreign Language Immersion and Culture Studies, where I co-authored the Spanish I and II curriculum using EntreCulturas and led district-wide language training. Before this, I taught English in Costa Rica for two years, developing language programs for children and adults and discovering a love for Latin dance. As a Fulbright-Hays and Fund for Teachers fellow, I explored Afro-Latin culture, creating rich, intercultural resources for Spanish students. Now, as an Instructional Strategist at Wayside Publishing, I support language teachers nationwide, sharing strategies to make teaching manageable, impactful, and joyful.
